Smartphones Didn’t get their name for nothing

“Wait I need to send this email really quick from my phone” “let me take a screenshot of this so I can save it for later” “I need to check my online banking statement”

Do you ever leave your house without your Smartphone? Or are you ever in mid conversation with someone, and they stop talking to you to look at their phone to check if their friend just texted them back? Well of course, we’ve all experienced this because our society loves the convenience of smartphones. Even though we may rely on our devices a little too much, these Smartphones make our lives much easier. These Smartphones allow us to take advantage of online services, such as checking the news, banking, emails, weather, music, Entertainment, Gaming, taking pictures, searching for information, or even scrolling through our social media apps.  Well, no wonder why all of us have so much screen time. These smart phones essentially became our little lab tops in our hands.

These phones allow us to save time throughout our day, be able to have quick access from the software they have installed in Smartphones. Some people are even capable of working from their smartphone, whether that’s getting on a zoom call or sending/replying to emails. Or do you remember when your phone would run out of storage, and you could no longer take more pictures? Ahh yes, me too! Nowadays iPhone has a system called iCloud storage.  Apple uses this ecosystem to use cloud storage for people to share info/memory between devices. Most importantly smartphones have allowed us to connect with loved ones around the world. Even though you may not be in the same room with them, you are able to see/talk to your loved one as if they were sitting right in front of us.

  1. I've always said that the smart phone is in the same level, if not higher than a purse. It houses all of our precious data that we used way too often. I know that I would like to try to stay away from my smartphone but like. bad habit I fall back into the habit of checking. text message or an email. I've happy and appreciative of its importance but at the same time there is a side of me that loathes it.

  2. I love your post! You shared lots of detailed information that I'm sure others and myself can relate to. I can't believe how far cellphones have come. I surely remember when I had a blue Siemens phone but I really wanted a Nokia. HAHA Smartphones are too smart for me I refuse to store additional information in it. Even Facebook can show me what I was just searching for, it's crazy! But I agree with you, you can literally do just about anything with a smartphone.
